Elevator

In my building there are 4 elevators with one button for all 4 of them to call them down.Can you tell me why when someone has already called the elevators and that we are 15 people waiting for one of them to arrive, that there always is a person that comes running and presses the button?

Does that person really think that the 15 of us were just standing there hoping that God will send us an elevator?
